How to convert LED Light for Christmas

In the month leading up to Christmas each year, you likely have a tradition of digging the decorations out of the basement or attic and beginning to make your home more festive. If you've used traditional Christmas lights for years, you'll have to begin the arduous task of determining which bulbs have burned out and need replacing. Perhaps it's time you converted your Christmas decorations to LED bulbs, which offer a multitude of benefits.
1 Determine how many strands, colors and varieties of strings of incandescent bulbs you'll need to replace. Make a list of them.
2 Visit a store that sells LED lights. Replace your old, incandescent lights with LED lighting by purchasing a number of strands, in the appropriate colors. LED lights come in virtually every color and are now made for Christmas decorations on strands that you can hang from the tree, on banisters and almost anywhere else your imagination takes you.
3 Donate your old, incandescent Christmas lights to a local charity or second-hand store to help someone less fortunate afford Christmas lights. If your lights are so old that they are damaged and do not function well, throw them away.
4 Decorate your home with your new, LED Christmas lights by mounting them just as you would incandescent lights. LED Christmas lights are built for both internal and external use, so in addition to decorating the interior of your home, you may wish to add LED light outside, too. Once you've finished, you've converted your home to LED lamp for Christmas, meaning you may never have to replace your Christmas lighting again.
